Key Responsibilities

  • •Own assigned applications end to end—run, maintain, improve, and decommission across a largely on-prem, legacy portfolio.
  • •Continuously monitor health, batch jobs, and integration points using AI-assisted anomaly detection and automate routine remediation.
  • •Execute configuration changes and run deployments via CI/CD pipelines; support operational requests like access provisioning and data corrections.
  • •Manage availability and continuity (failover, DR, backup validation against RTO/RPO), and monitor capacity/performance with SLO definition and improvements.
  • •Lead incident and problem management within SLA, maintain runbooks/knowledge, and perform security operations including vulnerability remediation and access governance.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant work experience in system engineering and application operations (e.g., network, server, security, databases).
  • •Strong Linux administration and production experience operating IBM WebSphere and nginx.
  • •CI/CD experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including secure development with GitHub Advanced Security and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
  • •Kubernetes operator/workload experience on EKS and AKS, with AWS and Azure network architecture knowledge.
  • •Observability experience with Dynatrace and OpenSearch, plus a track record of defining and meeting SLOs; scripting/automation (e.g., Python).
