•Write efficient, scalable database queries in PostgreSQL, and improve performance via indexing, caching, and thoughtful schema design
•Review code, mentor engineers, and raise the standard for backend quality, testing, and maintainability

•Experience building and scaling production backend services with complex business logic, testing, and reliability practices
•Experience with asynchronous systems and background job processing, plus strong backend security fundamentals
