Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide customer service by courteously representing the bank and assisting customers with opening, maintaining, and closing accounts.
  • •Process and verify customer transactions (cash/check deposits, cash checks, transfers, bill payments, and related receipts) using proper authorization and dual control.
  • •Balance currency, coin, and checks at end of day and maintain accurate records of cash and vault activity.
  • •Sell and cross-sell bank products such as official checks, savings bonds, money orders, and traveler's checks, using customer information to tailor recommendations.
  • •Follow security and compliance requirements (including BSA/AML), report discrepancies/suspicious activity, and assist branch management with operational oversight and scheduling coverage as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 1-2 years of related banking experience and/or training.
  • •Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and telephone communication skills, with a positive attitude under pressure.
