Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, operate, and maintain gas pipelines, appurtenances, and compressor station equipment and facilities.
  • •Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors, auxiliary equipment, reciprocating engines, centrifugal turbines, motors, cooling equipment, pumps, and valves.
  • •Diagnose and repair engines, turbines, pumps, motors, valves, and instruments; start/stop equipment within operating parameters.
  • •Install, repair, service, and maintain valves, pipe, pipeline appurtenances, corrosion control protection systems, and measurement equipment.
  • •Oversee facilities upkeep, right-of-way monitoring and maintenance, safety/environmental issue identification and reporting, and document/record keeping (including compliance activities and minor electrical maintenance).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Respond to callouts and emergencies after regular business hours (including after dark) and carry a communication device.
  • •Knowledge of compressors, pump stations, gas treatment, storage facilities, gather transmission, and pipeline system operations.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other diagrams.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license (and may be required to obtain/maintain a CDL) and meet company insurability requirements.
