Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of seasonal projects on site with On’s footwear sourcing partners and monitor key performance matrix across the development cycle.
  • •Recommend construction, costing, and process solutions for technical blueprints, upper patterns, and materials to balance performance, manufacturability, and aesthetics.
  • •Lead cross-functional meetings across phases to review issues, drive action plans, and demonstrate persistent problem-solving.
  • •Ensure products are manufacturable and meet cost, quality, fit, and ride expectations while coordinating with Asia and Zurich teams on construction, cost, and aesthetics.
  • •Coach and encourage team members; standardize development processes across teams/factories and manage factory development capacity, risks, and bottlenecks.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of footwear development experience across multiple categories or deep specialization, providing solution-driven guidance.
  • •People management experience is needed.
  • •Knowledge of industry tooling processes including 2D/3D CAD and CAM; proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
  • •Good knowledge of pattern engineering, tooling processes, and mold making.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Chinese or Vietnamese is a plus.
