Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the BRPD on major projects, liaising between lead designers and WSP engineering and specialist teams.
  • •Represent the Design Management team to develop BRPD strategy, processes, and future-facing solutions.
  • •Oversee design aspects to ensure objectives are met, deliverables are produced to high standards, and alignment to the Building Safety Act 2022.
  • •Manage BRPD process coordination across stakeholders, including tracking, evaluating, and reporting progress and representing the design team at high-level review meetings.
  • •Oversee design documentation (drawings, specifications, schedules) and support mobilisation, briefs/scopes/schedules, risk and issue resolution, and client handover.

Key Requirements

  • •An Engineering, Architectural, or Design Management degree.
  • •Chartership or professional accreditation (or close to achieving).
  • •Experience acting as a client-facing design manager or technical lead/coordinator on large, complex multi-disciplinary projects.
  • •Familiarity with RIBA design stages, including experience with Stages 1 to 3 and planning submissions.
  • •A highly organised, proactive, collaborative communicator able to work effectively with all stakeholders.
