Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, maintain, and provide technical support for design environments (automation scripts, EDA tools/flows, processes, licenses) and compute environments (storage, compute, netbatch, ION).
  • •Provide technical support for Intel PDK and collateral, including resolving tool/methodology issues for designers.
  • •Support design ramp-up through training and documentation.
  • •Partner with EDA providers and internal PDK/library and flow development teams to ensure required tool features and high-quality project support.
  • •Create and maintain automation (scripts/checkers) for installing design environment components and integrate new tools/methods into existing workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Resolve designer tool/methodology issues on the path to TapeOut, including EDA debugging and problem-solving.
  • •Have 3+ years with a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or 2+ years with an MS, working with front-end and back-end design tools and flows.
  • •Experience with physical design, optimization, and TFM (Tools, Flows, Methodology).
  • •Proficiency with Verilog/VHDL plus scripting using Tcl, Perl, or Python, and Linux experience (bash, tcsh).
  • •Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance TS/SCI and meet US Citizenship requirements.
