Key Responsibilities

•Exercise judgment to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts using applicable procedures.
•Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing applicable coverage to confirm whether the loss falls within coverage.
•Participate in Risk Management Agency initiated reviews and referrals to support operations integrity and quality assurance.
•Protect Zurich’s reputation by keeping claims information confidential.
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational opportunities, staying current with industry trends, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 46,600 - 81,000 annually

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or Equivalent, plus either 6+ months experience in the agricultural area (Field Adjuster I) or 4+ years experience in the agricultural or crop insurance industry (Crop Claims Specialist).
•Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire date.
•Reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel within the assigned territory (including travel outside the assigned area, as needed).
•Meet RCIS Crop Adjuster physical requirements, including walking up to 3 miles in agricultural fields, climbing up to 25-foot storage bins, lifting 25–50 lbs, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
•Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with strong organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills; intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred.
