Job Summary

Lead pre-sales and solution architecture for Visa’s Government payments strategy, partnering with VGS sales teams and distribution partners to understand needs, use cases, and support the sell-in cycle. Co-create digital-first capabilities with partners, translate government technology and integration requirements into Visa Technology needs, and develop joined-up offerings leveraging Visa platforms like VisaNet, CyberSource, and Visa Secure. Drive cross-functional delivery with Risk, Client Services, Legal, Privacy, and Government Engagement.

Key Responsibilities

•Support pre-sales engagement with key distribution partners for Visa Government solutions to understand needs, priorities, and use cases.
•Ideate and co-create digital-first capabilities and features with digital partners and enablers to test new use cases and deployment approaches.
•Translate government technology needs and partnership integration requirements into Visa Technology requirements for prioritization, scoping, and build.
•Develop joined-up solutions leveraging Visa digital technologies including VisaNet, CyberSource, Visa Secure, Tokenisation, Click to Pay, Visa Risk Manager, and Visa Developer Consumer Control APIs.
•Prepare and manage dashboards to track projects and ensure delivery and revenue realization of signed deals.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or 4+ years with a PhD.
•5+ years of solution architecture experience in companies serving governments, ideally with technology and pre-sales exposure (e.g., retail banking, payments, technology, consulting).
•Proven ability to translate client needs into product requirements by adapting existing products and solutions.
•High competence in RESTful APIs, architecture patterns, API/SDK integration, mobile/web application development, RTP payment architecture, and Open Banking exposure.
•Design thinking product development methodology experience, plus strong client and executive-facing communication and stakeholder influence skills.
