  • •Perform hand calculations and scope higher-detail thermal analysis models.
  • •Conduct detailed thermal analyses to resolve program thermal challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
  • •Create test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware compliance with customer requirements.
  • •Analyze test data to validate and correlate thermal models; perform data reduction and model correlation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 5 years of relevant experience (advanced degrees may substitute for experience).
  • •Experience in thermal analysis using ANSYS, PATRAN, Thermal Desktop/SINDA, or equivalent tools.
  • •Experience applying mechanical principles to classical thermal analysis and working independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • •Demonstrated thermal testing experience, including planning, execution, data reduction, and correlation.
  • •Ability to obtain an active U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
