Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • •Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • •Conduct internal audits to evaluate internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
  • •Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and prepare required documentation.
  • •Ensure UAE tax compliance, including accurate preparation and filing of VAT returns; perform regular bank reconciliations and support cash flow management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • •Proven experience in a similar accounts and audit role, preferably within the trading or distribution industry.
  • •Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
  • •In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and UAE corporate and tax laws.
  • •Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and advanced MS Excel skills.
