Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as primary preparer for month-end and quarter-end close, including calendar/checklist/reconciliations, and lead close flux presentations with management.
  • •Take full ownership of payroll accounting functions, including processing, reconciliation, compliance, and reporting across multiple markets.
  • •Design and implement accounting procedures, internal controls, and compliance mechanisms aligned with accounting policies and regulations.
  • •Drive accounting process improvements focused on automation, efficiency, and scaling; partner with cross-functional stakeholders on technical accounting expertise.
  • •Partner with external auditors to support timely deliverables and assist with employee equity grant processing.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a public company and preferably in startup/high-growth environments.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification (or equivalent) preferred.
  • •Proven experience with payroll accounting and related compliance requirements.
  • •Demonstrated track record leading process improvement initiatives and system implementations.
  • •Proficiency in NetSuite (or similar accounting software), including experience integrating financial systems.
