Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide significant internal client legal support day to day.
  • •Assess legal risk, provide legal advice, and assist in resolving legal problems that may represent potential company exposure.
  • •Stay current on legislation, regulations, and case law developments impacting the company and banking industry practice areas.
  • •Prepare and/or review documents and instruments, perform legal research and analysis, represent the company in transactions, and maintain files/records.
  • •Identify when outside counsel is needed, select/engage/direct outside counsel, and provide ad hoc work direction or supervision to other legal staff as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and licensed to practice law in good standing.
  • •Eight years of post-bar experience in a law firm, government, and/or corporate settings.

  • •Ability to prioritize matters, use time management, and move between matters fluidly while meeting critical deadlines.
  • •Demonstrated ability to handle a heavy workload, manage stress effectively, and work autonomously without close supervision.
