Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver day-to-day compliance reviews for new products, features, market expansions, and material changes across OKX’s global product suite.
  • •Review product requirements and supporting materials (technical documentation, user journeys, onboarding flows, trading/transaction mechanics, reward structures, disclosures, and operational processes).
  • •Conduct and document product compliance risk assessments across regulatory perimeter/licensing, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotions, market conduct, asset safeguarding, data privacy, and third-party risk.
  • •Provide clear, concise, evidence-based compliance recommendations, including required mitigants, residual exposure, and proposed approval or escalation routes.
  • •Support post-launch monitoring, control testing, assurance, and remediation of identified issues in partnership with Audit, Product, and Compliance teams.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 8 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Legal, or Risk within financial services, fintech, payments, or the cryptocurrency industry.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Hands-on experience in product compliance, regulatory advisory, or product risk assessment, including advising on new products and material product changes.
  • •Strong understanding of digital-asset products and crypto platform offerings (e.g., trading, custody, payments, staking/earn, lending, structured products, wallets, DeFi).
  • •Strong working knowledge of relevant compliance areas including licensing/regulatory perimeter, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotions, and trading/market-conduct requirements.
