Key Responsibilities

  • •Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products across local, networked, and cloud-based environments
  • •Leads design, drives initiatives, and breaks down initiatives into tasks
  • •Participates in Architecture and mentors team members
  • •Works cross-functionally with other developers, front-end designers, product owners and Tenable teams to accomplish shared goals
  • •Promotes clear and simple software design and high quality in security, reliability, testability and maintainability

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. degree in Computer Science or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience
  • •7+ years of software development experience in the primary programming language used by the team
  • •Must have a strong initiative and the ability to work both in a self-directed manner and as part of a team
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • •Strong understanding of a full software development life cycle (SDLC): requirements analysis, design, estimation, development, quality control and unit testing
