Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop application benchmarks, tools, and performance optimization methods for GPU/AI systems.
  • •Analyze system bottlenecks/opportunities with system-level data-driven studies and explore SW–HW co-design options toward implementation.
  • •Develop GPU/AI system TCO models based on application benchmarks and performance optimization.
  • •Investigate emerging standards/technologies with industry consortiums and open standard committees and contribute research results.
  • •Work with technology partners and suppliers to set up POCs/prototypes to evaluate and test new technologies or architectural designs.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related majors.
  • •Thesis focused on GPU/AI platform architecture and/or application performance optimization or software-hardware co-design.
  • •Deep understanding of computer system architecture, especially GPU/AI SoC/platform architecture, interconnect fabric, and memory subsystems.
  • •Experience in GPU/AI system application performance optimization or software-hardware co-design.
  • •Strong software development skills in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python, plus understanding GPU/AI virtualization, deep learning architecture, and distributed systems.
