Key Responsibilities

•Leads complex product environmental compliance (PEC) programs, managing priorities and timelines while driving execution with minimal oversight.
•Develops and maintains resources (regulatory alerts, presentations, training materials, web pages) on global PEC laws in conjunction with the legal and training teams; drives alignment with quality and governance expectations.
•Independently analyzes laws, regulatory requirements, and technical standards related to PEC and translates them into practical guidance and action plans for Emerson businesses.
•Monitors the global regulatory environment, anticipates regulatory trends, and leads impact assessments to inform compliance strategies.
•Acts as a trusted compliance advisor to business engineering, supply chain, and product/project management teams, supporting strategic and tactical decision-making.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in a Relevant Engineering Field; 8+ years’ experience in a compliance related field
•Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across functions and levels
•Deep knowledge of global product environmental laws (EU REACH, Global RoHS, PFAS, ESPR) and ability to translate them into practical guidance and action plans
•Experience developing regulatory resources (alerts, trainings, web pages) and mentoring others to strengthen regulatory expertise
•Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; familiarity with PEC software tools (Source Intelligence, Assent, iPoint, Greensoft)
