Job Summary

Lead HP's CTO, Software organization in shaping the vision, architecture, and operations of software and platform stacks. Drive platform engineering excellence across DevEx, data & AI, security, infrastructure, and reliability; manage a global, high-performing team and partner with C-level stakeholders to accelerate a software-led business transformation for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, technology and architecture excellence, and a customer-first mindset across the organization.
•Attract, build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of technology leaders with diverse expertise, perspectives, and backgrounds.
•Lead the developer experience function, maximizing AI-enabled developer productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction by reducing friction across the software development lifecycle.
•Lead the security function, making secure software delivery the default path, with security embedded into application software, platforms, pipelines, and engineering workflows.
•Lead the data and AI function, developing and executing a vision for delivering trusted data, AI, and ML capabilities for software, platform, and product teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 280,000 - 350,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a Ph.D. is preferred.
•15+ years of relevant experience in engineering functions, including 8+ years in senior people management roles, and preferably 4+ years of technology / software engineering leadership experience managing global teams.
•Current or prior engineering experience operating at the VP level within an established technology company.
•Demonstrable accomplishments in organizational development efficiencies and building a high-performing team of software engineers and leaders with diverse experiences.
•Deep technical expertise in distributed systems, modern cloud-native software architecture, and modern AI-native software development lifecycle practices.
