Job Summary

Serve as the closest People contact for a group of managers, helping them lead and grow teams using Joko’s People frameworks. Act as a partner and fairness guardian while handling complex employee situations and investigations with judgment. Own and continuously improve key moments of the employee journey—onboarding, performance cycles, mobility, L&D, and Day 1. Ensure compliance with labor law alongside People Ops.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner closely with managers day to day to drive strong team performance and growth using People processes.
•Protect fairness and consistency in People decisions, including handling exceptions with the right judgment.
•Handle sensitive employee situations and investigations, advising managers and employees through complex matters.
•Own and improve key moments of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance cycles, mobility, probation, and L&D.
•Ensure People practices stay compliant with labor law in collaboration with People Ops.

Salary: EUR 52,700 - 74,600 annually

Key Requirements

•2 to 4 years of experience in People Operations with HR Business Partnering focus, ideally in a fast-paced company or startup.
•Strong judgment to know when to push back vs. adjust, including comfort with senior stakeholder conversations.
•Solid grounding in French labor law, with comfort navigating sensitive employee relations topics.
•Ability to build trust quickly while setting clear boundaries and protecting confidentiality.
•Fluent in French and English.
