Job Summary

Lead onsite capital and expense infrastructure projects supporting engineering laboratories and facility needs at RTX sites, with a focus on Tucson (primary) and Texas/Colorado. Partner with engineering leaders and SMEs to develop owner’s project requirements, review architectural/MEP designs, and oversee projects to completion. Support capital appropriation requests, assess lab infrastructure and future needs, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives while ensuring compliance to RTX policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Support Engineering Capital Appropriation Requests as a subject matter expert through project maturation, documentation, and approvals.
•Develop project requirements and design concepts with cross-functional teams and review estimates to verify alignment and compliance.
•Oversee infrastructure projects to completion, including capital and expense budgeting and oversight.
•Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and serve as an interface between Engineering laboratories, business units, and other functions.
•Assess existing labs and infrastructure, understand future business needs, and leverage SMEs to deliver integrated solutions.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
•Project management experience coordinating and managing multiple projects while planning strategically.
•Experience developing owner’s project requirements/current facility requirements (OPR/CFR) and reviewing architectural and MEP design drawings.
•Experience performing field reviews and verifications of infrastructure.
•Active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
