Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of technical proposals, bid packages, cost estimates, and pricing strategies for power distribution projects.
  • •Serve as a technical advisor to Sales, channel partners, consultants, end users, and internal teams with application support and customized solutions.
  • •Analyze project specifications, develop technical and commercial solutions, prepare subcontractor scopes of work, and coordinate third-party vendors for proposals.
  • •Support Eaton’s engineering services portfolio (including digital solutions, aftermarket offerings, extended warranties, power system engineering, and training programs).
  • •Collaborate to improve proposal processes, pricing models, quotation tools, and standardization; lead proposal-to-execution handoffs and track proposal activity.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 108,000 - 158,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR a high school diploma/GED combined with at least seven years of electrical industry experience (including electrical field service, military, and/or electrical service estimator).
  • •Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record; designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy.
  • •Minimum three years of experience in application engineering, proposal development, electrical service estimating, technical marketing, engineering, sales, strategic planning, operations, or product management.
  • •Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future; Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support.
  • •No relocation offered; candidates must currently reside within 60 miles of Pleasanton, CA or Roseville, CA.
