Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rework electronic and electrical systems for precision machine tools and manufacturing equipment in line with OEM specifications.
  • •Troubleshoot communication protocols and diagnose issues in integrated machine tool and production systems to determine appropriate repair actions.
  • •Write/edit maintenance programs (alignments and ballbars) and develop test programs and loops to troubleshoot equipment movement for repeatability and accuracy.
  • •Test and adjust electronic components and systems using computing systems and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, meters, laser interferometers, ballbars) while maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • •Collaborate with other crafts, management, engineering, equipment manufacturers, and vendors; ensure system configurations comply with FAA and accreditation requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of electronic/electrical experience in machine tool maintenance, industrial electronic and/or electrical maintenance, or military electronic/electrical system maintenance.
  • •1+ years troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLC) or functionally equivalent control systems in related industrial, military, shipboard, aircraft, weapons, or automation environments.
  • •Ability to work at heights up to 125 feet above ground level and pass Fall Protection Training.
  • •Working knowledge of software programming languages (e.g., Boolean, ladder, C++, C++) and numbering systems (binary, octal, hexadecimal).
  • •Possess basic education (high school graduate or GED preferred).
