Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks Lakehouse Platform (Apache Spark, Delta Lake).
  • •Develop and optimize batch and streaming data workflows supporting analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence applications.
  • •Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and architects to translate business and data requirements into reliable production data solutions.
  • •Improve performance and cost efficiency of Databricks data processing workloads.
  • •Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentor junior engineers within a global, open-source–oriented culture.

Key Requirements

  • •Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala) hands-on experience.
  • •Experience building data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • •Strong understanding of distributed data processing, data modeling, and performance optimization.

  • •Knowledge of orchestration frameworks such as Airflow or Databricks Workflows; excellent English/Japanese communication.
