Key Responsibilities

  • •Source and purchase IT equipment, including hardware, peripherals, and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • •Maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and resolving issues; collaborate on RFI/RFQ and supplier audits.
  • •Collaborate with ITAM and other departments to forecast IT equipment needs aligned with budget and project timelines.
  • •Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • •Lead a team of procurement coordinators and assist with IT procurement budget preparation, monitoring adherence and AP schedule.

Key Requirements

  • •2-4 years of experience buying IT equipment and services.
  • •In-depth understanding of procurement principles and best practices, with IT Asset Management (ITAM) experience and/or Finance experience strongly preferred.
  • •Strong negotiation, planning, and forecasting skills, plus proficiency with procurement software and ERP tools (Oracle Fusion preferred).
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • •Relevant certifications in procurement or IT asset management are a plus; Oomnitza asset management experience is preferred.
