Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a team of design engineers supporting rotor hardware, including setting priorities and providing technical direction through targeted coaching and development.
  • •Establish and execute the production support strategy for the rotor hardware family to deliver timely, right-sized technical solutions.
  • •Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, process efficiency, and elimination of repetitive tasks.
  • •Lead resource planning and assignment for internal and outsourced engineering support, forecasting demand and addressing manpower gaps.
  • •Make risk-based technical and business decisions and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional leadership and customers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.

  • •Demonstrated ability to lead and prioritize engineering teams and coordinate competing production requirements.
  • •Experience with production support, producibility, continuous improvement, and/or cost-of-quality initiatives.
