Job Summary

Develop and deploy complex mission systems in an R&D environment focused on trusted SIGINT capabilities. Collaborate with experienced engineers to drive system development decisions, generate briefings for team and customers, and support integration and testing activities. Bring hands-on systems engineering expertise across high-complexity hardware and software, including Linux-based systems, troubleshooting, and test execution, while meeting TS/SCI security and U.S. citizenship requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with other experienced R&D team members on system development and deployments for national protection missions.
•Generate briefings and present materials to team members, customers, and AST management as necessary.
•Make decisions and generate ideas that help push products beyond expectations.
•Support systems integration and testing efforts, including resolving discrepancies and issues with development teams.
•Work onsite in San Jose, with the ability to travel up to 25% and periodically work weekends and nights as needed.

Key Requirements

•STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant prior experience.
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required prior to start date, and U.S. citizenship required.
•Minimum of 5 years of hands-on systems engineering experience with design, development, and testing of high-complexity custom hardware and software systems.
•Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems and/or Linux variants.
•Experience with systems integration, test execution, and test results documentation, including problem solving and debugging.
