Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and deploy generative AI capabilities across Typeform’s products, with a key contribution to Research Flow.
  • •Develop AI applications using large language models, RAG, vector search, and agentic systems, including integrations via services and APIs.
  • •Build and operate machine learning services and workflows using Python, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and orchestration tools for batch and real-time processing.
  • •Create evaluation and monitoring pipelines for generative AI applications, including benchmarks and safeguards to protect customer data and reduce unexpected behavior.
  • •Establish AI engineering standards and reusable patterns for building, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring AI systems, and collaborate with product, engineering, data science, data engineering, and analytics teams.

Key Requirements

  • •At least four years of experience building and deploying machine learning or AI systems in production.
  • •Strong Python and software engineering skills, including building production services with frameworks such as FastAPI.
  • •Practical experience developing generative AI applications using large language models, RAG, tool use, or agentic systems.
  • •Experience with enterprise RAG (chunking, embeddings, retrieval, reranking, evaluation, monitoring) and building automated evaluation pipelines.
  • •Experience with AWS and production infrastructure, including Docker and Kubernetes, plus tools such as MLflow and monitoring tools like Datadog or OpenSearch.
