Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement the company’s accounting and financial policies, reporting framework aligned with IFRS, the Law on Accounting, and CBAR requirements.
  • •Oversee preparation of financial statements, tax declarations, CBAR periodic reports, and other regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • •Establish and maintain internal controls over accounting and reporting, and prepare for internal and external audit.
  • •Coordinate external audit and tax inspections, respond to audit and regulatory requests, and represent the company with tax authorities and CBAR on accounting and reporting matters.
  • •Build, lead, and develop the accounting and finance team; support budgeting and forecasting, and enhance accounting processes, financial systems, and internal controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Higher education (university degree) and a professional accountant certificate (peşəkar mühasib sertifikatı, PMS) issued by DİM, plus current membership in an accredited professional accountancy organization.
  • •At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 3 years as a chief accountant or in a managerial finance role.
  • •Strong practical experience in IFRS-based accounting and financial reporting, preferably in financial services.
  • •Knowledge of Azerbaijani accounting and tax legislation, CBAR reporting requirements, and AML/CFT record-keeping obligations.
  • •Confident use of accounting and ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel; experience leading and developing an accounting or finance team.
