Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the overall testing and commissioning strategy, systemization, execution plan, and handover process for the complete project.
  • •Lead commissioning of compressor and dryer packages, including mechanical run-in, electrical energization, instrumentation calibration, logic validation, functional testing, and performance testing.
  • •Act as the single focal point for commissioning interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, OEMs, subcontractors, ADNOC Offshore Operations, and project management.
  • •Plan and coordinate offshore brownfield commissioning activities, including tie-ins, cutover/isolation/de-isolation sequences, SIMOPS, PTW/LOTO compliance, and offshore execution logistics.
  • •Prepare and obtain approval for commissioning and performance test procedures, manage commissioning documentation/dossiers, drive punch categorization and closure, and coordinate training/final handover to operations and maintenance teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 16 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects, including at least 8 years leading testing, commissioning, and start-up.
  • •Demonstrated experience commissioning compressor packages and associated electrical, instrumentation, control, and utility systems.
  • •Substantial offshore brownfield experience with live-plant tie-ins, shutdowns, SIMOPS, and start-up activities.
  • •Experience coordinating package OEMs, electrical/ICSS vendors, construction teams, and operations personnel across multidisciplinary workstreams.
