Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and handover of an offshore platform project. Own the commissioning strategy and execution plan, coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, OEMs, subcontractors, and ADNOC Offshore Operations, and drive punch closure and milestone delivery. Execute compressor package commissioning, including electrical energization, instrumentation/ICSS integration (PLC/DCS/ESD/F&G), offshore brownfield tie-ins, SIMOPS, and provide complete commissioning documentation and training for operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the overall testing and commissioning strategy, systemization, execution plan, and handover process for the complete project.
•Lead commissioning of compressor and dryer packages, including mechanical run-in, electrical energization, instrumentation calibration, logic validation, functional testing, and performance testing.
•Act as the single focal point for commissioning interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, OEMs, subcontractors, ADNOC Offshore Operations, and project management.
•Plan and coordinate offshore brownfield commissioning activities, including tie-ins, cutover/isolation/de-isolation sequences, SIMOPS, PTW/LOTO compliance, and offshore execution logistics.
•Prepare and obtain approval for commissioning and performance test procedures, manage commissioning documentation/dossiers, drive punch categorization and closure, and coordinate training/final handover to operations and maintenance teams.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
•Minimum 16 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects, including at least 8 years leading testing, commissioning, and start-up.
•Demonstrated experience commissioning compressor packages and associated electrical, instrumentation, control, and utility systems.
•Substantial offshore brownfield experience with live-plant tie-ins, shutdowns, SIMOPS, and start-up activities.
•Experience coordinating package OEMs, electrical/ICSS vendors, construction teams, and operations personnel across multidisciplinary workstreams.
