Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect Foundation Data Schemas: Lead a significant conceptual and engineering rewrite of our data architecture across survey databases, API DBs, and training files to transform our system.
  • •Optimize Computational Performance: Refactor internal data loading and ingestion pipelines to remove bottlenecks and ensure high-throughput data streams for large-scale model training.
  • •Master the Hardware & Infrastructure: Architect and manage end-to-end infrastructure with high-performance code for NVIDIA chips, including GPU-based training workflows and production-ready models.
  • •Engineer Scientific Evaluations: Design and build high-priority evaluation tooling and rigorous statistical frameworks to prove fidelity and accuracy of simulations.
  • •Own the Lifecycle: Bridge research hypotheses and deployed systems, owning the full research-to-production pipeline for reliable simulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Deep Learning, or a related quantitative field.
  • •High proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX).
  • •Proven experience owning the deployment pipeline for large-scale models and understanding the training/fine-tuning lifecycle.
  • •Ability to navigate ML research frontier, reproduce complex papers, and document breakthroughs with rigor.
  • •Demonstrated track record of owning the full stack of research engineering from experiments to production deployment.
