Job Summary

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, building and deepening relationships through personalized financial planning and advice. Sell, deliver, and provide ongoing service for retail banking and fee-income products including banking, mortgage, planning, investments, and insurance. Use referral networks to acquire clients, manage pipelines in the contact management system, and partner with internal specialists to deliver integrated, compliant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
•Establish and update understanding of client financial needs through profiling and personal financial planning analysis, coordinating with investment advisors on asset allocation objectives.
•Monitor and stay current on economic, legal, and market trends impacting clients, serving as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
•Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing new products, and managing sales activity and pipeline in the contact management system.
•Work with internal Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners and external centers of influence to ensure integrated delivery and compliant client portfolio development.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and related training.
•Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients dealing with banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year as a financial client relationship manager).
•Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment management/asset allocation concepts for the mass affluent market.
•Active SIE and FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) plus applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), and must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant with NMLS requirements.
•Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with strong written/verbal/presentation abilities and Microsoft Office proficiency.
