Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate on System Requirements and Software Development: join a dynamic software team and translate system requirements into detailed software requirements, UML/SysML models, and diagrams for a large-scale program.
  • •Effective Communication and Team Collaboration: work with software engineers and teams across disciplines to ensure clear communication and cohesive solutions.
  • •Provide Technical Support to SBCDS Team: assist the SBCDS team by answering questions and resolving issues to keep development on track.
  • •Develop Code to Meet Customer and Certification Standards: maintain, enhance, and develop software aligned with requirements and certification standards.
  • •Software Implementation in Test Environments: implement and integrate software in testing environments and ensure thorough testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with Embedded Development using object-oriented design.
  • •Experience with development tool sets, for example, Jira, Subversion/Git/Version Management.

  • •Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • •Preferred: virtualization, microservices/containers/orchestrators, memory-safe languages (Ada or Rust), automated test environments (Python).
