Safety Coordinator I

Coordinate and facilitate the facility’s safety programs, including inspecting operations for safe practices and ensuring required guards and protective equipment are in place. Investigate accidents and near-misses, implement corrective actions, and support management with safety programs and incentives. Train new hires and employees, certify forklift training, chair the Safety Committee, maintain OSHA 300 logs, and manage safety reporting, medical restrictions coordination, and required regulatory tours.
