Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain supervision of children at all times and support the coach and PE team in planning and delivering lessons.
  • •Maintain full supervision of the swimming pool and manage pool checks before and after lessons, recording results and liaising with maintenance where needed.
  • •Manage and ensure safety of swimmers and all on-site persons, following PSOP-Pool Safety Operating Procedure and the Emergency Action Plan.
  • •Support teachers with administrative tasks and provide excellent customer service; help the PE department with day-to-day tasks and events.
  • •Follow school policies for child safeguarding and behavior management, and attend mandatory monthly training sessions to maintain required knowledge and skills.

Key Requirements

  • •UAE approved (ADQCC) Swimming Coach or pool Lifeguard Certificate.
  • •First Aid Certificate and CPR knowledge.
  • •Must be qualified to teach swimming and be a qualified lifeguard.
  • •Must be a proficient swimmer and physically fit to work outdoors.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency desired.
