Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine and emergency mechanical maintenance and repair on plant equipment with minimum supervision, including weekends, holidays, and scheduled shifts as needed.
  • •Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in mechanical systems; read and interpret drawings, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and vendor service manuals.
  • •Evaluate, diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, compressors, fans, turbines, and boilers.
  • •Participate in major maintenance projects such as equipment overhauls and removal/replacement of major units; inspect and monitor third-party contractor work.
  • •Comply with safety and environmental regulations while performing tasks such as disassembling/reassembling valves and other rotating equipment and conducting torch cutting and welding.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 51.61 - 66.45 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Trade school or trade school program in Mechanical Maintenance.
  • •Minimum of five years’ maintenance experience in power generation or similar industrial facilities and field.
  • •Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of work management programs (Maximo preferred).
  • •Valid CA driver’s license and ability to follow safety/environment rules for mechanical maintenance (including confined space and elevated work requirements).
