Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis using specialist software to support studies of dams and reservoirs.
  • •Carry out research and apply theoretical knowledge to new situations, supporting continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • •Undertake feasibility studies to assess alternative solutions, including technical performance, health and safety, cost, and environmental benefits.
  • •Prepare designs, drawings, specifications and contracts; write clear reports and prepare presentations for colleagues, clients and regulators.
  • •Join site visits to support dam inspections and broaden understanding of how assets perform in the real world.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field (e.g., geology, geotechnics, structures).
  • •Master’s degree in relevant subjects (advantage).
  • •Water-related modules or relevant work experience (advantage).
  • •Technically proficient, enthusiastic, and hard-working with strong research skills and curiosity.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to structure and prioritise work and work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
