Job Summary

Operate paving and heavy construction equipment to help deliver top-quality highway projects. You’ll run machines such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and backhoes, complete daily checklists and pre-start inspections, and coordinate with the project manager and foreperson to meet daily goals while maintaining rigorous safety standards. The role also includes tracking service needs, keeping equipment clean and well-maintained, and supporting onsite workflow with other operators.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a variety of heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and backhoes.
•Follow equipment manuals and complete daily equipment checklists for safe, efficient operation.
•Work with the project manager and foreperson to meet daily project goals and maintain safety standards.
•Perform pre-start inspections, track service needs, and ensure machinery is in excellent condition.
•Coordinate with other operators onsite and keep equipment clean and well-maintained.

Key Requirements

•Dedication to safety and quality workmanship.

•Construction experience preferred; familiarity with materials and equipment.
