Key Responsibilities

  • •Commission, startup, and qualify new power-distribution assets while maintaining ongoing reliability, safety, and performance.
  • •Lead pre-commissioning, functional testing, and energization of switchgear, transformers, UPS/generators, and motor-control equipment.
  • •Verify protection schemes operate per design intent and standards (IEEE, IEC, NEMA) and perform safety verifications before applying power.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable codes and internal procedures, and produce commissioning reports, as-built drawings, and close-out documentation.
  • •Interface newly commissioned assets with SCADA/EMS platforms, validate telemetry and remote control functions, and manage corrective actions for deficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 4 years electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting; semiconductor fab experience preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of industrial power distribution system design and reliability codes/standards (including IBC and IFC).
  • •Daily use of a CMMS to manage assets and maintenance schedules.
  • •Experience with Excel for data analysis (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and simple scripts) and strong written/verbal communication skills.
