Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Produce and present the final cost plan and develop cost plans/estimates through the design phase.
  • •Review cost estimates with design services and the general contractor; prepare updates and written comments to submissions.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract cost variances, and change of control processes.
  • •Compile built cost records for benchmarking, produce monthly cost reports, and support funding/VE sessions with stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects with medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction technical matters such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
