Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • •Perform welding, cutting, and minor electrical repair tasks as needed.
  • •Remove and replace components such as motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, and water/steam pipes, lines, and systems.
  • •May monitor boiler operations and perform chemical tests on the boiler.
  • •Read drawings and schematics of hydraulic and basic electrical systems, and complete other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 6 months of mechanical/maintenance experience within the last 24 months, preferably industrial maintenance.

  • •Must be able to use basic hand tools, read and understand assignments, and communicate orally and in writing.
  • •Must be able to meet physical requirements, including lifting 50 pounds and climbing stairs/ladders up to 60 feet.
  • •Must be certified to operate various pieces of gas/hydraulic motors/lifts.
