Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble and disassemble all equipment associated with the Properties department.
  • •Assist in directing local crews, including loading and unloading.
  • •Conduct regular maintenance as deemed necessary by supervisors.
  • •Follow production cues to meet production standards and assist with scene changes and show presets.
  • •Continually improve efficiency of Props department operations while complying with safety and security procedures.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with props in a backstage setting related to a live performance.
  • •Basic knowledge of hand tools and how to use them.
  • •Basic understanding of theatrical terms and directions.
  • •Some knowledge of fiberglass application techniques.
  • •Basic skills in scenic painting and ability/desire to tour year round.
