Job Summary

Join the Geo-environmental Design team to deliver complex geo-environmental engineering work across waste management, mining, water, and site transition projects. Develop technical deliverables such as reports, specifications, and drawings across project phases from concept to decommissioning. Support technical project delivery with resource, financial, risk, and quality management, prepare client proposals, and provide technical direction and mentorship to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the Geo-environmental Design team to deliver geo-environmental engineering projects, including waste management, mining, water, and site transition work.
•Develop technical documents (reports, specifications, drawings) across project execution phases from concept through decommissioning.
•Support technical delivery by incorporating resource, financial management, risk management, and quality management requirements.
•Manage projects to WSP PM Level 1 as a minimum and assist with project planning and technical deliverables.
•Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior staff and coordinate contract management with suppliers and subcontractors.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree (Engineering) or equivalent.
•5-10 years of experience in geotechnical/civil system design and specification, with preference for landfills, ponds, and containment systems.
•Willingness to learn new materials and approaches and to work autonomously with limited long-distance support.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acceptable written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
•Ability to integrate into multidisciplinary projects and contribute to technical excellence through project execution.
