Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver expert advice and hands-on coaching for a broad range of employee relations matters across line managers.
  • •Provide consistent, high-quality support for misconduct investigations, performance management, disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and fitness for work.
  • •Lead investigations into serious and sensitive matters (including sexual harassment) and act as an escalation point for complex cases.
  • •Support internal appeals and ensure outcomes are balanced, fair, and appropriate through close partnership with business leaders and stakeholders.
  • •Build capability within People Services by coaching on less complex and informal cases.

Key Requirements

  • •Tertiary qualification in Employment Law, Human Resources, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • •Proven experience advising on individual people matters, including complex misconduct investigations and grievances.
  • •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and robust documentation/audit trails.
  • •Strong end-to-end case management experience delivering timely, consistent, high-quality advice.
  • •Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring others, with stakeholder management skills to influence and negotiate at all levels.
