Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, optimize, execute, and own advanced SQL queries to analyse financial data and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies indicative of financial crime.
  • •Translate complex datasets into actionable insights, dashboards, and management information reports for senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • •Analyse customer due diligence datasets to detect and communicate financial crime risks and emerging trends.
  • •Develop and own dashboards, reports, and metrics to track performance and operational efficiency of the Customer Due Diligence control framework and Customer Risk Assessment model.
  • •Lead deep-dive modelling and scenario/stress/calibration/change testing; coordinate with technology to maintain and enhance Customer Risk Assessment models and implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in a data analytics role, preferably within financial crime, risk, or compliance in financial services.
  • •Strong proficiency in data analytics/quantitative analysis including SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
  • •Experience using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • •Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence regulations and financial crime principles/regulatory frameworks.
  • •A relevant degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; financial crime certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) are desirable but not essential.
