Job Summary

Civil Resident Engineers are needed to deliver water and wastewater infrastructure projects for Uisce Éireann in Ireland. Key Responsibilities

•Lead the delivery of site-based infrastructure projects on behalf of Uisce Éireann, ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, environmental, programme, and cost requirements.
•Review and monitor Contractor documentation and performance, including HSQE submissions (RAMS, TMPs), CEMPs, quality plans, and adherence to contractual obligations.
•Conduct regular site inspections, safety reviews, and quality audits, ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications and approved proposals, and assist with incident investigations as required.
•Supervise construction activities, maintain detailed project records, and support the coordination and monitoring of commissioning works to achieve timely project completion.
•Administer commercial aspects of contracts, including assessment of interim and final accounts, variations, claims, and contractor performance against KPIs.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
•Experience in the site supervision of civil engineering construction works.
•Experience working on major infrastructure projects including water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, pipelines and other large-scale civil works.
•Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, regulatory compliance, safety auditing and RAMS review.
•Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including FIDIC, and experience in the assessment of Contractor claims and payment applications.
