Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist Herd Technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to ensure animal welfare.
  • •Feed, water, vaccinate, and perform basic veterinary/animal husbandry tasks, including piglet processing.
  • •Sanitize and wash multiple farm areas using high-pressure equipment, and maintain cleanliness and laundry duties.
  • •Update production information and department records as required.
  • •Follow standard operating procedures and comply with animal welfare policies, environmental, safety, and biosecurity laws and procedures.
