Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage model development and estimation activities across the model life cycle, including planning, data acquisition, estimation, evaluation, documentation, approval, and integration/implementation.
  • •Build and lead a team of quantitative model developers to develop risk models using advanced modeling approaches and set performance standards.
  • •Provide leadership and mentorship to other quantitative model development managers across products and modeling disciplines.
  • •Establish, maintain, and administer model development infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
  • •Oversee ongoing model support (evaluation/surveillance and interpretation) and represent the model owner during 3rd-party assurance reviews and Q&A activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or other applied quantitative science, or equivalent training.
  • •10+ years of relevant experience developing, documenting, implementing, or validating quantitative models in the financial industry.
  • •Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or other applied quantitative science, or equivalent training.
  • •3-5+ years supervising or acting as a team lead over quantitative model development teammates.
