Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand SDLC and STLC test methods and processes and proactively communicate testing requirements with the team.
  • •Create and maintain test plan/strategy, test cases, completion reports with sign-off, exception reporting, and follow-up.
  • •Execute manual functional test cases, issue reports (DSR, RCA), and coordinate end-to-end integration testing with other application teams.
  • •Manage and maintain test data for reproducible results and comparison between successive runs.
  • •Participate in Agile/Scrum rituals and report testing progress and metrics to the test lead/manager; contribute to defect analysis and root cause.

Key Requirements

  • •5-12 years of relevant experience in software testing in the banking domain as a Test Analyst in a financial institution.
  • •Strong functional knowledge of back office processes, financial products, and trade life cycle from banking IT implementations or operations roles.
  • •Strong exposure to securities and derivatives/wealth management; exposure to trading products is a plus.
  • •Proficient in test life cycle management using HP-ALM/ALM Octane and experience with manual functional testing and test data/mockup creation.
  • •Experience writing test cases for complex projects, including performance test cases and regression test identification or creation.
