Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner cross-functionally to deliver AI-powered products that improve how customers interact with their money.
  • •Develop AI foundation models across design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
  • •Conduct high-impact applied research and translate new AI developments into next-generation customer experiences.
  • •Use a broad technology stack (PyTorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, Lightning, and more) to find insights in large numeric and textual datasets.
  • •Collaborate with senior researchers to prepare internal tech reports or conference submissions summarizing methods or findings.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 238,600 - 272,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or related fields (or an M.S. plus 2 years of Applied Research).
  • •Hands-on experience developing AI foundation models and solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.
  • •Experience building large deep learning models across language, images, events, or graphs, including areas such as training optimization, self-supervised learning, robustness, explainability, and RLHF.
  • •An engineering mindset with a track record delivering models at scale across training data and inference volumes.
  • •Ability to own and pursue a research agenda, including choosing impactful problems and running long-running projects.
