Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects across healthcare, education, transport, and data centre sectors.
  • •Produce mechanical engineering designs, calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentation to a high standard.
  • •Coordinate with electrical, structural, civil, architectural, and specialist engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • •Develop energy-efficient and sustainable mechanical building services designs, including HVAC, public health, heating, and cooling systems.
  • •Support project delivery through programme management assistance, technical coordination, client communications, and attending meetings, site visits, and inspections as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Experience in a building services consultancy environment delivering mechanical design solutions across multiple sectors.
  • •Knowledge of Irish and UK building regulations, standards, and mechanical building services design practices.
  • •Proficiency in mechanical design software and BIM platforms, including Revit.
  • •Understanding of HVAC, public health, low-carbon, and sustainable building services systems, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
